OPERATING for over 30 years in the Goulburn Valley, the Beer and Beef Club are a group made up of over 40 local members who enjoy the simple pleasures in life - beer and beef.
Club members meet on the third Wednesday of every month, at a restaurant chosen by Beef Master and local Shepparton resident, Joe Lia, where members sample an array of foods and enjoy the service of individual restaurants. Afterwards, members vote on several different aspects of the meals and service provided. At the end of the year, votes are tallied and a winning restaurant is named according to the highest votes.
President, Craig Collins said, “We were pleased to announce The Connection on the Causeway as this year’s winning restaurant. The Connection received the highest score based on appetisers, main course and service.”
