PREPARATIONS are well under way for the 41st Shepparton Police and Fireman’s Annual Ball this September, with proceeds to go to the Blue Ribbon Committee Shepparton Branch to support the purchase of medical equipment at Goulburn Valley Health.

Senior Constable Thelma Bull of Shepparton Police said the event that was  held last year attended by more than 350 people had been a great success, raising  $1,300 and hopes this year will see even more money raised for the local community.

“This is an opportunity for locals to get dressed up, come together and enjoy great food and live music, and all for a good cause,” Snr Const. Bull said

“Raffles with prizes donated by local businesses will also be drawn on the night to help us raise further funds.”

Shepparton Police and Fireman’s Annual Ball will be held on Saturday September 4, at 7.30pm at the McIntosh Centre, Thompson Street Shepparton.

Tickets cost $65 pp and include a two course buffet meal by Friar’s Catering and live music by local band ‘Catch 22’.

Dress: gowns and suits, no denim.

For bookings phone Thelma Bull: 5820 5830 or Jeff Lear: 0427 526 016.
