THE BETTER HEALTH SELF MANAGEMENT COURSE
Goulburn Valley Community Health Service will be facilitating two Better Health Self Management Courses in July. Aimed at people diagnosed with chronic conditions, who would like to learn about strategies to improve their long term health condition. The courses commence Tuesday the 13th of July and Tuesday the 17th of August from 10.30am to 1.00pm at South Shepparton Community House, 11 Service Street Shepparton. Or on Wednesday 28th of July and Wednesday the 1st of September from 10.00am to 12.30pm at the Mooroopna Education and Activity Centre, 23 Alexander St Mooroopna. MAKE-A-WISH
The annual Gala Dinner and Charity Auction for Make-A-Wish Australia will be held on 31st July, 2010 at The Sherbourne in Shepparton. As usual, this night will be one not to be missed with great food, drinks and music and the opportunity to help raise funds for Make-A-Wish. The theme will be Christmas in July, so dress to impress with a touch of red, green or white. There will be a live auction of larger items and a silent auction as well with many items to tempt you. Tickets are $75/head so gather together a table of friends and come along for a fantastic night of fun while raising money for Make-A-Wish Australia. FOUNDERS AND SURVIVORS
Shepparton Family History Group and the Shepparton Library present: “FOUNDERS and SURVIVORS - Mapping former convicts from Tasmania”.
A workshop with Professor Janet McCalman from the University of Melbourne.
This ongoing project will eventually follow convict founders and their descendants over five generations. You are invited to join this first stage of the quest to find Australia’s Founders and Survivors and to submit a convict you have researched.

CAMP QUALITY AUCTION NIGHT
On the 20th of August 2010, there will be an Auction Night to raise awareness of child cancer. There will be a fabulous array of items to be auctioned, with finger food and drinks available. Tickets are $20, viewing of items begins at 6.30pm for commencement of auction at 7.30pm. ALCOHOL SUPPORT
