AS part of the school’s Creative Arts Program, Bourchier Street Primary School students were treated with a professional production of Beauty and the Beast last week.
Bourchier Street Primary School Creative Arts Teacher, Lorraine Bicknell said the aim of the performance by Melbourne-based theatre company- ALPHA, was to encourage students artistically.
“It retold a classic fairytale whilst delivering a message to the students about believing in themselves and showing respect to all,” she said.
“Students were mesmerised and thoroughly enjoyed the show. It was an enriching theatrical experience all round.”
